
Luana Struppa
(Italy)
Luana Struppa was born in Italy in 1979. She began studying piano led by Salvatore Spanò. In 1999 she graduated in piano at the "G.B. Martini" Conservatory of Bologna.
After graduating, she completed ... her studies at L'Ecole Normale de Musique “A. Cortot” of Paris, with Professor Young Shin An, obtaining in 2002 the "Diplomed ‘Ensegnement".
In 2005 she has a Ph.D. in Piano from the “Hogheschool Von Music und Dance” in Rotterdam (Holland), with M Aquiles Delle Vigne, and in 2006 the Triennial Diploma of High Specialization under the guidance of M Luigi Mostacci and Oliver Kern.
In 2007 she graduated with the highest marks in Music Disciplines. In 2015 she obtained the Biennial Diploma of Specialization in “Methodologies of Musical Artistic Teaching in Secondary School.”
She performs concert activity in Italy (Bologna, Florence, Verona, Rome, Salerno, Palermo, Cosenza ecc..) and abroad: France (Ecole Normale in Paris),Austrian (Wiener Saal in Salzburg), Netherland (Dhoelen Theatre, Rotterdam ), USA (Detroit, Grosse Point Memorial, University of Rhode Island), Spain, Belgium.
Currently, in addition to the concert activity, she is a piano teacher at the Music School in Marsala, Sicily.
